How is Leonard Fournette Not a Top 10 Comeback POY Candidate?

Heading into 2019 the favorite to win the NFL Comeback Player of the Award was San Francisco 49ers quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo, after he suffered a torn ACL in Week 3 of the 2019 season. He remains near the top of the oddsboard at +180, but he has been surpassed by Los Angeles Rams’ slot receiver, Cooper Kupp, who is the favorite at +155.

Bovada has Kupp as the favorite at +155 followed by Garoppolo at +180, Dalvin Cook at +700, Travis Frederick at +900, Jacoby Brissett, Aaron Rodgers, Emmanuel Sanders and Darren Waller at +2000 and Teddy Bridgewater at +2500 to round out the oddsboard.

Leonard Fournette is not in the Top 10 and that's just wrong. Despite his past flaws the fact that he is on pace for 1400 yards rushing and 450 receiving and not a top 10 betting favorite is just wrong.

At the start of the season Cooper Kupp was +1800, while Jimmy G’s odds have dropped from +325. The Rams’ wide receiver has not missed a beat since his injury last season, and it could be argued that he is better than ever. Through eight games last year, prior to his season-ending knee injury, Kupp had 40 receptions for 566 yards and six touchdowns. Over the first eight games of this season, he has 58 catches for 792 yards and five majors.
