Lightning Fall To Kings In OT

The Los Angeles Kings (37-22-11) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (38-26-6) 4-3 in overtime late Saturday night in Los Angeles. The loss snaps Tampa Bay's winning streak at five games.

The Lightning trailed 3-1 with less than five minutes to go before Steven Stamkos scored twice to tie the game. The equalizer came with forty-six seconds to go in regulation that helped the Lightning earn a point.

In overtime, it was Vladislav Garikov coming up with the game winner to lift the Kings to a second point on the night. For Tampa Bay, Andrei Vasilevskiy went 19-for-23 in net.

The Lightning are back in action in the second game of a back-to-back when they go to Anaheim to play the Ducks on Sunday. Puck drop Sunday night is scheduled for 8:30 PM.
