The Walter Camp Football Foundation announced the National Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week presented by Generation UCAN on Sunday, as Jonathan Greenard was named the Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in No. 11 Florida’s 23-6 win over Missouri on Saturday.
Greenard posted a team-high six tackles, including five tackles for a loss of 23 yards, and two sacks for a loss of 12 yards in Saturday’s win over the Tigers to conclude the SEC slate. Greenard’s five tackles for loss marked the most by a Gator in a game since 2000. The Hiram, Georgia native also added one quarterback hurry in the victory, as he led a Gators’ defensive unit that held Missouri to just 256 total yards of offense. Florida has not allowed a touchdown in its last two games.
