This week has been a roller coaster. News broke Monday that Jaguars corner Jalen Ramsey requested a trade. Tuesday Jalen held a press conference that raised more questions than answers. Thursday the Jags came out and played a game vs the Titans where they recorded 9 sacks on Mariota and gave up 0 sacks of Gardner Minshew on offense. By late Thursday Night in an interview with NFL Network Jags Owner Shad Khan said he plans to make Jalen the highest paid corner in the league.
One team that has been rumored to have reached out with serious discussions about a trade with the Jaguars for Ramsey is the Baltimore Ravens. Ravens HC John Harbough shyly addressed the issue on Friday. “I’m like fans. I read it,” Harbaugh said via the Baltimore Sun. “It has a little interest, because if someone gets traded to a team that we’re playing, or away from a team that we play, that matters to us. If we’re ever involved in one of those, then that really matters to us. But it’s not something you could ever comment on anyway.”
The Ravens have lost Corner Travon Young for the season and Corner Jimmy Smith for multiple games heading into week 3.
