Charlie Strong has been the head coach at Louisville and Texas. As of now - Vegas say he soon be a former USF coach if something does not change quickly in Tampa. At 3/1 he is now the betting favorite to be the first coach fired at the FBS level this season.
Strong still has a winning record at 17-10 in his third year with the Bulls. But after a 10-2 season in his first year, Strong is 7-8 and also 0-2 to begin this season.
Wisconsin destroyed USF 49-0 at Raymond James to start the season. New Georgia Tech coach Geoff Collins got his first win, 14-10, last week.
Right behind Charlie Strong is FSU Head Coach Willie Taggart. He was a 4/1 bet in Week 1, so an extremely-stressful overtime win over ULM did not change anything. Taggart is 6-8 since FSU hired him away from Oregon, including the end of a bowl streak in his first season. Those games include the blown lead against Boise State, a 24-3 loss to Virginia Tech in his first game and a blown 20-point lead last year against Miami. FSU also had scares against Samford last year and ULM last week.
