Tim Tebow's Baseball Season Comes to an End

Tim Tebow’s season with the Syracuse Mets has come to an end.

According to Newday's Tim Healey, an injury he suffered earlier in the season will cost Tebow the rest of the 2019 campaign.

The former college football star suffered a significant cut on his left pinky last month and it reportedly won’t heal in time for him to come back this season.

Mets manager Tony DeFrancesco hinted this was a possibility.

He finishes the 2019 season with a .163/.240/.255 slash line with four home runs, 19 RBIs, 98 strikeouts and 20 walks in 77 games.

It’s the second straight season Tebow’s year with the Mets came to an end because of an injury. In 2018, he suffered a broken right hand in July which cost him the final months of the season.
