Mississippi State v Georgia
The University of Georgia has dismissed sophomore linebacker Brenton Cox, per UGASports.com.
The reason for the suspension has not yet been made clear. Cox was facing a possible suspension from the program to begin the season, due to an arrest in the spring for possession of marijuana. Cox was a five star recruit in the 2018 class.
