Pats 5 Point Favorite Against Eagles in Super Bowl LII

The Eagles will tangle with the defending champion New England Patriots in Minneapolis in two weeks. This is the second time these two franchises have met in a Super Bowl.

The first time was back in Super Bowl XXXIX in 2005, when the Patriots and Tom Brady won their third Super Bowl in four years, besting Philly 24-21.

The Patriots will take that result again this year, but it might not be enough to cover the gambling spread, at least for those who bet on New England as soon as they can.

The opening betting line for the Super Bowl was just released, courtesy of the Las Vegas SuperBook. The Patriots are favored by just less than a touchdown.

New England is giving 5.5 points to the Eagles. The over/under is 47.5.
